Years ago I had a mutt that had taken some real mistreatment, he was small, terrified of men and would bolt if anyone lit up a cigarette (his previous owner had abused him with cigarettes). He'd also been left abandoned in a home for weeks. He would shake like that often when he got scared, but he eventually came around and started to trust people. He lived a good life and was a nice dog.

She is just the sweetest little baby and I am so happy for her! And so grateful to her daddy for bringing her out of her shell. I hope she lives happily ever after.

She would start shaking like this dog if she was in the same room with me or any other adult male. If I approached her she'd try to escape.

It took her about a year to get over that fear.

In about three years she was one of the sweetest dogs I've ever known -- playful, silly, and affectionate.

She lived a long happy life and I miss her.
