(53,410 posts)Though he loves rolling in the dust so hell come home looking almost completely gray. When he shakes his head dust bursts off his fur like a cloud. His fur just seems to clean itself because in a couple of hours hes silky shiny again. Its amazing. Ive rarely seen him cleaning himself. Usually right after he eats hell wash his face, but any real concerted afford is very rare. I do brush him every day, which he loves, so I can keep the shedding to a minimum.

(2,218 posts)Korsakov was a beautiful large dark tabby also.
I like Tut's expression in this photo: "What is my human doing now?"
lunatica
(53,410 posts)Did you name him after Nikolai?
FuzzyRabbit
(2,218 posts)The name fit, so I kept it, or rather HE kept it.
Women and little girls swooned when they first saw him.
When I moved into a new apartment, the landlady said she did not like cats. But when I got home from work the first day, she was lounging outside with Korsakov laying beside her and she was petting him.
He's been gone for thirty years and I still miss him.
