But taking his post at face value it does say 'cameo' and not 'part of the casting call'.

A cameo would've been temporally possible since he was out of prison for a time while show was being made.

Where they defend Aunt Kate's ranch from Black Bart. Right after Micky is touched by the saloon girl, there is a petite man facing the bar that Micky brushes by. I don't think that is CM (Charles Manson) since this episode aired on December 4, 1967.


He was paroled March 21, 1967 after a 10 year sentence. He eventually met Brunner, Fromme, and Krenwinkle in the Haight-Ashbury area. They all left San Francisco together sometime in November or December in 1967 and headed to Los Angeles in a bus.


It is interesting to note that Catherine Share (Gypsy) and Bobby Beausoleil (Cupid) starred in a soft porn movie called Ramrodder before meeting CM and joining him. I've been reading books about the Manson family as I'm able to obtain them. I've learned there were more tragic victims, attempted victims, and undetermined deaths besides the ones located at Cielo and Waverly Drive. It's basically a bizarre and complex sequence of complete chaos.
