My evidence:

He's orange.
He's lazy.
He's pathetic.
He doesn't listen to anybody.
He's chronically depressed.
He doesn't really do anything.
He certainly doesn't exercise.
He's a perpetual whiner.
He's pretty much just waiting to die.

Sounds about right to me.

That's a total misunderstanding and tends to play into a false narrative among many. Granted, he does leave space in his act for that kind of description. It seems that it might feel better to think of him in that way rather than grapple with a skilled confidence man who has a very nefarious ulterior motive. That is not a comfortable thought and it can evoke a lot of anxiety.

Some of those things may be true, but you don't do what he is accomplishing by just being lackadaisical. To cast him in that light is a mistake. Somebody who fits that description could not get to where he is at, nor could they become the greatest threat to democracy we have seen in a long time.

Making fun of him won't change that.

1. gudetama is cute. Trump is not.
2. gudetama speaks for all of us who, from time to time, suffer from chronic depression. Trump speaks only for himself.
