Note: I wasn't sure if it was proper to post this in the Primaries forum, so I thought I'd post it here to be on the safe side.I can't believe I did this but I'm going to miss voting in the Michigan primary on March 10. I don't know what the hell I was thinking, but for some reason, I thought it was March 17. It's not. It's March 10th and I will be on Maui on March 10. I won't be able to get to the County Clerk's office for an absentee ballot tomorrow. I literally haven't missed voting in an election since 1998 when I missed a local school board election because I don't have kids and I had a migraine that day. I remember it clearly because I still feel guilty that I skipped it. I don't know what this will do to me, lol. Maybe it was subconscious because I really don't have a favorite. I know who I don't want to be the nominee, but it wouldn't be the end of the world if he was. I'm still so traumatized by the 2016 election that I'm completely off my game.
Please, everybody, check the date of your state's primary/caucus and don't do what I just did.

(38,187 posts)So, you didn't screw up royally. You just screwed up somewhat. Missing the general election would be the royal fuckup. Just don't miss that and remember to always vote for the Democrat, whoever it ends up being. The ass you save might be your own.
See? At 49, I am STILL a total fuckup. I can "reason" my way out of anything.
Now, I screwed up royally today. Yesterday, they delivered the no name brand version of Naugahyde, that I ordered, do I can finish my journal I am making. Even though I made myself promise myself not to use super glue, I used it. I ended up wasting the first piece I cut out. That was a fantabulous disaster. Lucky for me, I know me. I ordered lots extra Naugahyde for screwing up room. I used the faster drying superglue for the second piece I cut and so far it is going better. I'm slowing down and taking my time instead of trying to do too much at once. I WILL get better at this.

(22,250 posts)we have a US Senate race with 12 candidates, a House district with 6 and two constable races with 5 each.
Our entire State House of Representatives, half of our State Senate and all the Congressional Seats are on the ballot plus a plethora of judicial spots.
There will definitely be some runoffs in May.

(b) Deliver the application personally to the clerks office, to the clerk, or to the clerks
authorized assistant.
(c) In either (a) or (b), a member of the immediate family of the voter including a
