Those were enormous windows. Glass does not insulate as well as other materials. Maybe that was south facing and they thought the windows would allow in a lot sunlight and warm the house that way. Also the ceilings were very high and heat rises.
The baby was walking around barefoot. The floors must be awfully warm for that.

I wonder if the humans have a dog with them. They'd zero in on that right away. The snow looks like they visit regularly from the trail and many tracks.

I have to watch it a few more times!

Thanks for sharing!

didn't look like an attack at all. BTW, wolves rarely attack humans - they have been unjustly maligned for centuries.

8. Maybe Canada does NOT have the barbaric wolf killing program

the needle-dicked U.S. gun humpers use to kill off this majestic creature. I say that because wolves that have been put in danger by humans stay the hell away from us.

This pack know humans are right there, and exhibited no fear. Very smart critters.

in Canada and efforts are made to reintroduce them to areas where they are no longer found. Ranchers/farmers OTOH can legally shoot them if they attack livestock.

And, thankfully, the barbaric "sport" of hunting them from planes or helicopters is prohibited. Come to think of it, wasn't that one of the things that Sarah Palin got off on??

Shooting from helicopters was banned back in the late 80s.
