I certainly can not claim to always avoid grammatical and spelling errors, but the obvious things become really embarrassing when repeated endlessly. Of course, not all Brits practice precision "Queen's English", but in comparison, it feels that they more often do.
That said, I would not mess with Mr. Marx.
