I picked up a couple of cans of Armour's Vienna sausage, but I also bought one can of some sort of meat product. Think "generic Spam".

We'll eat it only if it's the last thing left in the house, otherwise, we pass it on to my lady's brother, he'll eat anything.

Why do I have so, so, so much Amy's Carrot and Ginger soup in my cupboard?

Last week, the day before invasive surgery, my mother asked if I liked ginger whilst at the grocery store... A day later there would no paper and no canned goods at selfsame store.

I have since recovered and still have so, so, so much Amy's Carrot and Ginger soup and, thankfully, have enough toilet paper.

Good as a quick filling meal when mixed with hot rice, or else when a spoonful of it is put over thick eggplant slices covered with a thin layer of olive oil, and then baked for (however long--ask my wife, she's the master chef around here). But you have to like spicy stuff. If not, just take it out when you need to jumpstart a corpse or something.

The catch was they had to put it in their socks to transport it. It was Boston cream pie. My husband put it in his socks and proceeded to eat it once he got to his room.
