Actually it's a good song, don't like the melody or musicianship that much, but do like the words. As one who doesn't like heavy drinking, I appreciate the sentiment.

The womenfolk have decreed a moratorium on country music here for a while....

But if you are ever looking for cheerful songs of boozing, look up a band called 'Devil Makes Three', especially their song 'Gracefully Facedown'.....
