had a really weird nightmare last nite ... woke me up fast

first i found myself in an apartment that i must have lived in, but i don't as nothing was recognizable yet i knew i lived there, and i discovered that i had been burglarized... someone had stolen most of my books, and maybe furniture, since as i went from room to room i noticed a severe lack of furnishings, but also my books ... even the book i had $800 stashed in (i don't have $800, nor any $ stashed in a book)
i just kept wandering from room to room, which by the way were painted in very garish colors, and the lighting was dim ... then when i went into the bathroom to look there, discovered a mummified body underneath the bathtub 😱

and to add insult to injury, when the police arrived to investigate the book theft and apparent mummy, the lead detective... Bernie Sanders 👻

and with that, i woke the fuk up ...

strange days and strange nights

I often have nightmares wherein my wife throws my books out.

For her, it's a pleasant dream.

only to finally find one and it is either out of order, locked or has a really long line. The good news is I haven’t run into Bernie in my search (yet). 😬

in my dreams, too!

I'm in a building and I know where the room is but when I get there the whole architecture of the building has changed and I am chasing that room around the building, only to find it has only shower stalls, no toilet, or the toilet is totally full of shit.

The dreams of the old and trying-not-to-be-incontinent!!

One where the building has been changed all around and another with the bathrooms - full, flooded, zero privacy or disgusting. I tend to have them when I am stressed and feeling like things are out of my control.

"Well, we know it wasn't trump because the thief stole a book. And we know it wasn't the 1% because they wouldn't bother to steal $800 when they are stealing millions from hard-working Americans every day."

If so, yes, that was Bernie as the lead detective. Otherwise, it was Larry David and you should have stayed asleep to see what he would say.

The books and the cash represent your past and current knowledge with plans for an unknown but hopeful future. That knowledge of expectation, of course, has been/is being stolen by the tRump administration (the burglary). The mummified body under the tub is a symbol for the death of what once was with respect to societal norms or a pre-virus world and it's location under the tub is your hope that those norms can be restored by bathing the garishness (another aspect of tRump or the virus) out of our situation. Detective Sanders shows up as an authority and potential fix to recover our own losses while preventing future losses, but as it turns out he is just a cop and cannot guarantee restoration. The path to restoration remains unknown for now.

Yes? No?
