to "She's a Web Designer," but my mind was probably wrong, and basing the thought more on mythology than biology.

I have actually seen a number of those already, but each and every one is still amusing.

I think my personal favorite is Day 8.

Went to a new restaurant called "The Kitchen". You have to gather all the ingredients and make your own meal. I have no clue how this place is still in business.

So true.

I am very tired of cooking. And we have only been on Stay at Home for a little over two weeks. We were self-sequestering a bit before that, though.

I am a decent cook but more to the point I tend to really like my own cooking. Right now I probably have at least two weeks food in my refrigerator and freezer, and even more in supplies. And I have not been hoarding at all. It is important to note that I live alone, so it's every easy to create a lot of meals for me. Plus, while I am not exactly Miss Twiggy, I don't have very much of an appetite, so not very much food goes a very long way.

A couple of days ago I made pizza from scratch, and still have two meals worth in the freezer. Yesterday I baked an eye of round and it will give me more meals than I will probably be able to consume, meaning at least five. If I can correctly use my bread machine (it's a relatively new one that I hadn't used in about two years and so screwed up the bread baking three days ago) one loaf of bread will be quite a few meals. I do have some bacon and eggs to use up.

For me, the not being able to go out is not much more than a nuisance, since I'm pretty good at cooking for myself. I do appreciate that for many others it is more of a hardship. I do hope that being able to do carry out at local restaurants is helpful.

Yesterday I was able to get together with a couple of friends. We ordered carry out from a local restaurant, and I will say that it was a distinct pleasure to eat something not of my own cooking for the first time in more than two weeks.

When people asked me when I was a kid what I wanted to be when I grew up, I answered "rich recluse." Well, thanks to this virus, I got the "recluse" part and can feel really pious while I do it.

When new cases level off and restrictions are eased a bit, we introverts will sally forth with fully recharged batteries while the extroverts are hung over and distinctly frayed around the edges.

Online friends who live alone are wishing broken fingers onto quarantined extroverts with telephonitis.

I just shut the damned thing off.

I'm relieved he uses his powers for good, not evil.

What may happen when you annoy him.
