My late mother loved cats, and was feeding strays in the backyard to the point that there were lots of them — and her husband shot them!

I am so glad he found poor Libby and rescued her. She seems like such a sweet, gentle dog. How could anyone ever treat a dog that way? Why would you have a dog only to treat them like that?

Anyway, I wish Libby a long, happy life!
