Related: Culture Forums, Support ForumsI got one of those "Amber Alert" sounding texts today from the State of Colorado.
It was letting me know that due to the pandemic situation in the state, they would reinstate my EMT license w/o requiring a refresher course. Part of me wants to take advantage of it, but the truth is, I've been out of practice for years and I don't feel competent. EMTs have a broader scope now. Kind of scary it's getting to this point.

OP
Is the reinstatement conditioned on you working as an EMT during this pandemic? If not, I'd do it

The text didn't give a lot of information, although it did not mention having to work.

and they use my quarantine time to sharpen my skills just in case I did want to go back to work at some point.

I might check into it. I've been wanting to take a refresher just to get current again. Plus, I enjoy the classes.
