Honestly, no matter how bad you have it, be glad you're not a teenager stuck with your parents. (Original Post) lindysalsagal Apr 2020 OP

the big issue it’s what they are missing one was with a sports team that is never going to a season and the other was graduating HS / prom this year it sucks
Even though our place is small we all stay out of each other’s face and they are in contact with a lot of friends . I just asked if they are losing hope spending time with us and one said no just sad they can’t go out and the other said 4 out of 10 with 10 being the worst.
Maybe next month....or they are not saying

if the Internet and cell phone service stopped working. I'm sure most young people have their heads buried in a variety of screens.

I feel sorry for the parents stuck with moody teenagers who can't go out and hang out at the mall.

Just walked out of the toy closet (retired for many years) carrying Yahtzee and Sorry boxes. Huge smile on his face. God I wish I had a photo of the look on the young 20’s kid’s faces. LOL LOL LOL 😂😂😂 Those looks will put a smile on my face for the next week!!!

They get to spend all their time on the internet, with their friends there. And when school is online, even more of an excuse to be on it 24/7. Worsening the various online, gaming, etc dependencies many teens and preteens already have.
