(16,377 posts)How is she taking it? I'm sure you're both worried about exposure.

(66,316 posts)She's taking very well. Dental hygiene is both boring, doing the same thing day in, day out, year in, year out, and highly damaging to the hands and wrists. She was in pain pretty much all the time. She had been telling me for the last ten years that she would give anything for enough time off to heal properly.
Well, she's got it now.
She hasn't been this happy in ages.
She's worried about getting infected, so we're practicing marital-distancing for the time being. We keep at least six feet apart, and I'm sleeping in the guest room.

Sundays are my Fridays. We are closed on Wednesday so Ill have three whole days off this week. In a row! Im positively giddy at the prospect. Tomorrow is reserved for sleeping, loving on the cats, napping, eating, napping, and watching garbage on Netflix.
My boss and I were talking earlier this evening about how surreal it is to hear customers talking about boredom setting in, cabin fever, and the general, good-natured quarantine gripes when we have been getting absolutely slammed (with reduced staff, to boot) since this all began.
