(55,137 posts)I could never get her to do anything with food as a treat since she walks away from everything...cheese, PB, chicken, beef, cookies, bacon, meatloaf, pizza, dog food, etc. The vet won't trim her toes now, only taking emergency cases. The last time I cut her toes was 16 years ago and it was a bloodbath for 48 hours. Maybe the vet would take us if she is bleeding profusely? Doubt it. She is starting to resemble Howard Hughes.
