and they both have elements similar to Falling Skies but that has aliens as will Defiance an upcoming TV series.

If you can tolerate zombies The Walking Dead also explores many of the same themes with civilization gone, etc it is surprisingly very good at not really being about zombie killing etc but rather how people survive with other people.

can find it under the MGM channel. Falling Skies is very, very good. I liked Jericho a lot. I am a fan of these type of films, series.
