Just found out our maintenance man died over the weekend. COVID-19 is suspected.

God, this is awful. He was the sweetest, nicest man in the world. We bonded over being grandfathers. He was so kind; everyone loved him.

2020, can we start over, please?

I suspect we aren't even going to know how many people we lost until well after the fact. So sorry for your loss.

It always seems like the kindest people are taken too early and the evil bastards in this world seem to live forever. May he RIP.

My last patient of the day presented to the clinic due to confirmed exposure to COVID-19. She was breathing so rapidly and shallowly that I sent her right to the emergency room.

I wish I could think of a non-violent way to rid us all of the 'lift the lockdown' terrorists...
