Blew my nose on toilet paper instead of Kleenex. What was I thinking??? So wasteful.

Toilet paper reappeared in Santa Fe weeks ago.

At first in extremely limited amounts, and now in very reasonable amounts.

I admit that I don't get out much and tend to shop in the evenings.

The other day, I was in the store and a stocker placed a single box on the floor in the toilet paper aisle. It was empty in 5 minutes. It probably had 12 sets.

9. I haven't looked everywhere.

I hear that Aldi's has some. And apparently all stores have it when they open. I'm just not that good at getting to the store y 7am.

The early bird gets the toilet paper...

I get NOWhere @ 7 a.m. (except to window overlooking osprey nest, then to bathroom!) No Aldi around here (I think.)

13. Do you have Harris Teeters near you? The one near me places TP behind the Customer Service

desk and limits customers to one package (of about 8 or 12 rolls) each. So they have had TP in stock each time I have been in, over the past few weeks.

Friend brought 2 rolls over Thursday; I'll check my grocery tomorrow.

They can be washed.

in laundry with whites.

11. You could ask an employee when they get the trucks that have Kleenex and go the next morning.

They may get some, but it just goes fast.

12. Looks like Office Depot is in Maryland.

Check their website. Put in your zip and it will show what is available for delivery. Sometimes it is even free delivery.

I was able to find TP there early on and got free delivery. Maybe they have some available. Not sure.

14. I pulled an old, threadbare sheet out of my ragbag

And cut it into big squares for hankies. I hemmed them with the sewing machine so the edges wouldn't unravel. Now I have a couple of dozen new hankies from the well worn cotton sheet fabric that is very soft on tender skin.

Took less than an hour (with two cats helping) and I don't need to buy anymore tissues.

15. Amazon has various Kleenex varieties

Walmart has them and they have next day delivery, Sam's club has then and they can be shipped . Most seem to have a glut of the cube box's.

16. The only lysol spray I saw for sale was the picture of lysol can on a t-shirt.

Is it now extinct?
