For all you Garry Marshall fans,

and I know you're out there, tonight at 8:00 ABC is presenting a 2-hour special, "The Happy Days of Garry Marshall".

"In a heartfelt tribute to Hollywood legend Garry Marshall, his family and friends share their favorite memories of the creative genius behind some of the most memorable series in television history."

Sounds like fun!

as the casino manager in "Lost in America" with Albert Brooks and Julie Hagerty.

"Whadda' ya' mean ya' want your money back. It doesn't work that way." after AB had "lost the nest egg".

His humor was usually so dry, and he never lost his NY accent (not that he tried). Penny was a treasure too.

God, I wish Albert Brooks was still making those kinds of movies. Modern Romance, Lost in America, Defending Your Life, and Mother were all fantastic. He was like a more relatable and, frankly, funnier Woody Allen. His brother was a comedy genius, as well.

The cast was perfection, the plot hilarious. It's one that I watch whenever I see it listed; I really should DVR it one day.

"Mother" was a goodie also. "That's the protective ice" claims "Mother" Debbie Reynolds, as AB grimaces at the ice cream. I've used that line since.

he was an extension cord salesman sitting next to Monk on an airplane. He was very funny as usual. I thoroughly enjoyed the episode.

Sarah and her apartment buddies decided to kidnap him and hold him for ransom. He's tied to a chair and says; "Sarah, did it ever occur to you and your friends that marijuana IS NOT YOUR FRIEND!"
