For those who are owned by a cat... did you know the following?

all the time.........

He sleeps with me everyday and night. He shows his belly,even lets me pet him there. He's so sweet and perfect. He relaxes with me to the point he goes into REM sleep with paw twitches and cute little noises.

it means "DO NOT DISTURB"

I did not know it and since I've read that, I am determined to leave them alone when I see this
(even though they're so darn cute)

He was on my lap,had to wake him because my bladder was gonna bust.
Put up a do not disturb paw,but I had to disturb him.

on a cool surface (like a bathroom floor), sometimes on their backs. They look almost like they've melted.

When it's hot, my cats don't seek a cool surface (they lie on the carpet)-- I've tried moving them to the entry way which is tiled, but they always move back to the carpet. Go figure.


They always keep me guessing.

I am fascinated by their ability to flatten out like they haven't got bones.

I know I'll never figure them out but I don't mind. That's why I'm a cat person and always have been.
