For those who are owned by a cat... did you know the following?
A cat's sleeping position tells what they're feeling/thinking.
I've had cats all my life and never knew most of this!

2. Omg,I love my Othello even more!
He sleeps with me everyday and night. He shows his belly, even lets me pet him there. He's so sweet and perfect. He relaxes with me to the point he goes into REM sleep with paw twitches and cute little noises.

3. I didn't know that when cats put their paw over their eyes...
it means "DO NOT DISTURB"
![]() I did not know it and since I've read that, I am determined to leave them alone when I see this (even though they're so darn cute) ![]() |

5. Another thing they do, on hot days, is completely flatten out
on a cool surface (like a bathroom floor), sometimes on their backs. They look almost like they've melted.

7. Yes, I've seen it when they look melted!
When it's hot, my cats don't seek a cool surface (they lie on the carpet)-- I've tried moving them to the entry way which is tiled, but they always move back to the carpet. Go figure.

8. Mine usually lie on the bathroom floor or next to the back door.
I am fascinated by their ability to flatten out like they haven't got bones.

9. They fascinate me... period
I know I'll never figure them out but I don't mind. That's why I'm a cat person and always have been.
