I just received a blackmail e-mail...

...telling me to send someone who calls themselves "Kaitlyn" 2.000 dollars in Bitcoin, or they will expose my secret shames to the world. Well, all I can say is, at my age, they're welcome to any secrets they can get. I deleted the e-mail...

shook me up a bit because it referred to my name here, but then it said it had pictures of me through my web cam.
I don't have a web cam. I report it to Google as phishing and deleted the email

The password was one I had used quite a bit in the past, but only in one of my current forums (which I changed after being notified it was compromised).

Same kind of threat -- sending shameful web cam images of myself to all my contacts, but I knew there were no such images. I deleted the email, blocked the source as spam, and haven't gotten another in the 10 days since.

Does ze eat them? Burn out their domiciles? Drop acid shit on their automobiles? Seduce their lovers with invitations to tea?

My secret shame is that I don't feel guilty about it any more.

I was raised a good Christian to feel guilty and ashamed about so many things. Every personal moral failure, that was me nailing Christ to His Cross.

Becoming dragon chattel freed me to be myself and I'm really not such a bad person as I once believed.
