Bill Steffen's cats get feisty during the forecast
Note: When I lived in Grand Rapids, this is the station I'd always watch for local news and weather. I still watch it online every once in a while. Maybe I should watch it more.

3. yep! I was waiting for it...
but Bill was cool as a cucumber. Remained focused, kept speaking as though nothing was going on.

9. Everybody on YouTube was laughing about his "Anchorman" poster. He's a good meterologist; too bad
he's a MAGAt. He's a climate change denier, too. He lets it slip every once in a while on Twitter.
On edit: I've been watching him since he was on Channel 13, WZZM with Craig James, lol. I also remember him trying to hit on a friend of mine way back in the 1970s when they both lived at Apple Ridge Apartments off of Alpine. He's always had that silly mustache. Grand Rapids and I go way back. I worked at GVSU in downtown GR since 1981. I retired in 2015 & moved to Lansing. |

14. I didn't notice the poster - I was wondering about the coffee machine collection on the table
Before I got distracted by the cats! He's got at least three coffee machines and a bunch of bags, presumably all coffee.
Oh, now I see the Anchorman poster, but I like the Snoopy one better. |

8. That was pretty funny. I was so busy watching the cats
that I couldn't pay any attention to the weather report. Too bad the clip ended before the final pounce.

11. Everyday our cats get wet cat food for dinner.
Our one cat needs a daily immune booster mixed into his wet food and on every other day I have to insert a half pill of Prednisolone into a kitty treat and make sure that he takes it so that he stays healthy. (This is our black cat Bermuda, who's eyes that you love.)
Everyday while I'm washing my hands, refreshing their water bowls and preparing their dinner, it's like having WWE Feline Smackdown in the kitchen. Everyday I tell our cats while they're involved with the WWE Feline Smackdown, "Mom's working on it as fast as she can. Please have patience." If I had a webcam in my kitchen, the entire DU community would be howling with laughter. This video gave me a hearty laugh because it's not just me that this happens too and I can relate. Thank you, Catbyte. ![]() ![]() |

12. What an awesome kitty! The manaical look in Bermuda's eyes says it all.
Thanks for the great stories about your cats. They're such characters, aren't they? They make The Apocalypse so much more bearable.

13. Believe it or not, he's not the instigator of these daily fights.
It's our female that starts the showdown. If Bermuda had his way, he would be snuggling with Moppit and not fighting.
I still wouldn't give them up for anything and they certainly do make life so much better. ![]() |
