Question about my cell phone

I don't have a smart phone, just an old flip phone. Today, it will light up as though someone is going to call - it has done this many times today. When I finally flipped it open, across the bottom screen it read "channel 4400." Could someone be trying to hack my phone?

I just googled channel 4400, and all I gleaned was that this is possibly a test mode. Don't know how I got it, I've turned the phone off and on, and it doesn't help. Should I just ignore it? Does anyone know?

called the 611 customer service number and got recording saying that now isn't a good time to call (WTF??)
I forgot my online password and because of above "network difficulties" messages, can't logon to my account.

but my phone is AT&T and not T-Mobil - I assume it's no big deal, but didn't really see a solution. Thanks for trying to help me, though, I appreciate it.

few days later. Like maybe they were testing a particular cell site and then move on to another.
