For my 20,000th post, I want to celebrate Democratic Underground.

This place has been a mainstay for me since 2005. I have learned so much here,
sometimes by reading and sometimes by making an ill thought-out reply. Sometimes
gently and sometimes not. This place is a great resource for news, culture, humor and
so many more things. During the hard times, and this is one of them, this place is a haven of
sanity and wisdom.
Thanks to the admins, you guys created a gem, I wish I could contribute more than I do.
Thanks to all of the DUers who have treated me daily with their shared visions of
how democracy should be. We all share our best values in common. Thanks to all.

These days I only know of a few people around here that aren't Trump supporters. This area used to be mostly Democrats, every local office was controlled by Democrats
