(15,772 posts)For every day beer I've been getting Heineken but it's a bit sweet. Sierra Nevada is another fav..
Makers mark bourbon..... very smooth...
Any vodka, it's all the same stuff to me. The rest is just marketing... Did a blind taste test at a party. Took the cheapest vodka and put it in a Grey Goose bottle.. When poring from a GG bottle people said it "defiantly" tasted better.. HA!
YMMV.

(31,961 posts)Sam Adams - a tasty beer that's not a stout. Cabernet Souvignon as a break from beer. And Bombay Gin and V8 or Tonic Water for the 3rd and 4th alternative.

(15,772 posts)And I'm not even Irish!! The wild wild west of Ireland is such a beautiful place and the people are the best.. If I live long enough I'm going back again.. I banged around Galway, Westport and Sligo... just magic... BTW if you do go get the smallest car you can manage.. The roads are even smaller!!!

I also like whiskey. Lately I have been drinking templeton rye. Its one of the best rye whiskey I have found that's affordable and stocked at the local ABC store.

I can enjoy a lager when the temperatures in California approach triple digits, but sharing a bottle of super chilled California Sauvignon Blanc with my wife out on the front porch is even better.
