Frozen peas are just like blocks of ice for future reference.

Not long after all this started we had to get the thermostat and heater element replaced in ours. Whew.

I try to avoid deliveries in the Winter months. Far too many little birds depend on our house staying warm and draft free.

model. Terrible manufacturing design issue had the chilled water line to the ice maker running directly behind the veg crisper drawers. If the ice maker wasn't used frequently the water supply lines started to freeze and in turn that froze any fresh produce near the back of the drawers. I literally had to thaw the lines with a hair dryer.

I have since replace that fridge with another supposedly best model that only freezes the valve assembly that feeds the ice maker. I'm 73, disabled and I shouldn't have be on my hands and knees trying to make DIY repairs with my ancient hair dryer that I only use to dry the cats after a bath.

Crappy appliances are very expensive in more ways than one.

I've had some cats that like water and had a great time getting bathed. They trust me and I try to make bath time a stress free activity and I never rush or forcibly restrain them so there's not too much of a struggle. The round eyed, soulful looks and plaintive wails of protest are heartbreaking... I know they do it in purpose!

I generally only bathe them in the spring when they start shredding to help remove all the extra hair. Although one time I accidently spilled some olive oil in my poor cat just as she flopped down in front of me.

What a mess, and Dawn dish soap is just as effective in removing olive oil on housecats as it is in cleaning crude oil from wild critters.

It came with the house 8 years ago.

At this point, replacing it seemed like a better idea than repairing it.

it for ANY reason first 90 days, then they extend the mfg warranty a year if you use the costco visa to buy it.

Or not, just mentioning for everyone to know about.

The power blinks off here more than I care for thus the extended warranty.

Costcos is about 80 miles from my home. I haven't been there in a few years. Maybe I'll do some shopping at Costco after I have the gasket replaced on our large freezer.

I replaced my kitchen fridge right before things shut down. Like the week before. They brought it into the kitchen, leveled it, took all the tape and plastic off and cleaned the outside.

Last month, I had to replace my basement fridge. They dropped it into place and leveled it and said goodbye.

I actually did not enjoy peeling plastic off the outside. Missed some tape inside too.
