Are burglaries down?

I would think burglaries would be way down now, with everybody staying at home all the time. Fewer burgling opportunities. Some unofficial additions to the unemployment rolls.

1. Car prowling is way up in my neighborhood.

2. Same here although they caught a couple of kids

the other day, so that might put a dent in the early morning pastime.

But I’m seeing a lot of car break-in stories on Nextdoor.
