who refuse to follow the stay at home orders, coming out to the beach where you're not supposed to be, ignoring the "No Beach Access" signs ALL OVER the Coastside:
FVCK YOU.
Our poor 19 year old kitty, struggling with multiple health issues as it is, had trouble breathing this afternoon, and we had to go to the emergency vet "over the hill".
What SHOULD have been a 10-minute drive to the emergency vet - no thanks to all of you ASSHOLES now meandering back home and creating huge traffic jams - took an HOUR.
Thankfully kitty lived through the hour. He might not have.
STAY HOME, ASSHOLES.

(20,568 posts)I am beginning to think the average mental age of Americans is about 6. Had no idea how infantilized so many people have become. Do they feel they have no responsibilities in life? I can't wait to hear the mea culpas from all these assholes.

(10,199 posts)Kitty has gone to the Rainbow Bridge. He was 19 years 8 months, and already had several significant health conditions. The emergency vet had hoped that he just had a URI, and could be treated with antibiotics. But x-rays showed fluid in the chest, and with his health already so compromised, he advised us that further treatment would most likely be futile and cause more distress.
The emergency vet allowed one person to be with him at the end, which we were so grateful for, having heard of many pets, lately, having to go to the Bridge alone due to COVID concerns.
I'm just glad that we were able to get him to the vet alive, so he could be given a chance if there were any chances for him, and he could go with dignity if there were no chances.
