...snack delivery.

That would be so much fun.

Last year, a mother duck made a nest in some mint we have behind our garage. Eventually, there were 9 eggs, and we were so excited. Sadly, predators picked off 3 eggs one by one, and then the remaining 6 all at once. I felt awful about this.

Some would scold for feeding the bird, making it unafraid of humans, I took that and flipped it to video etiquette in that video is a horizontal medium. Or was until cell phones became video camera . . .

doesn't find it. I interviewed the fellow who ran it in hopes of doing a photo essay. He had some stock pictures of how the birds are treated and housed during rehab. The care givers are all hooded, gloved in large floppy gloves and the birds never actually see a human during their stay. In the case of baby birds the feeder wears a glove made up to look like an adult bird's head and they are fed through a small opening in their nest box. I never got to see the place because when I asked to photograph it for my essay the interview abruptly ended.

However, in the case here the bird is a healthy adult fully integrated into nature and inserting itself into a human's domain so no harm, no foul. I seriously doubt this falcon will seek out human companionship or forget how to feed itself.

It was pretty neat and had a segment about how the falcons are nesting in buildings on the upper floors. No predators near buy I guess...

Her eye markings are so distinct it rather looks as if she is using eyeliner.
