Good books for High School graduates

My nephew is graduating high school this month and I'd like to buy him a book as part of a gift.

Nothing political. Just something about how to live a good life.

One book I'm thinking about is: Man's Search for Meaning by Viktor E. Frankl

But I'd love to hear other suggestions? What book do you wish you had read when you were 18?

I'm afraid I don't have anything inspirational at this point. I'd say Grapes of Wrath is perhaps the best book I've ever read -- and strangely somewhat timely, but not sure it's really relevant to what you're thinking of.

In many ways, it's about honesty and honor and solidarity.

The story fictionalizes the Scope "Monkey" trial, dealing with teaching evolution in a high school.

This is the story for people who follow their hearts and make their own rules…people who get special pleasure out of doing something well, even if only for themselves…people who know there’s more to this living than meets the eye: they’ll be right there with Jonathan, flying higher and faster than they ever dreamed.
