Only the pink costume on the dog in the third picture is knitted. All of the others are crocheted.

Knitting takes two needles (at a minimum), with many stitches on the needles at one time. Crocheting takes a single hook, with a single stitch on the hook at one time. If you look at that t-shirt that you are wearing, it's knitted, on extremely fine needles. You are unlikely to have any crocheted clothing, unless you have artistic or crafty friends and family!

End pedant alert. You may go back to your regularly scheduled work or play.

that asked the question: "How many needles do you use when crocheting?" I was driving at the time, but I wished that I were near a phone so that I could call and scream, "That's a trick question! It's not a needle; it's a hook!"

So, yeah, I have pedantic tendencies as well.

Oh, and I was near a phone during one contest and won a crappy t-shirt for answering the question: "In what war were the most German soldiers on U.S. soil?" I knew that it was the Revolutionary War, and I didn't even tell the D.J. that he should have used "which" rather than "what". (But it was very hard restraining myself.)

Which is crocheting without a needle. An art I hope has not died out.

I thought the subject was: When Kittens Go Bad

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

And the first picture didn’t make me confused AT ALL! To me it made perfect sense.

But the Viking thing made me double check....
