1. Hah... One can always tell the Chinese sellers who also write glowing reviews of their own product

And yes, I do buy from them on occasion and sometimes even write a positive review of my own.

at customs and passed customs on May 5th. after that, nothing. last delivery date was the 6th or 9th, not sure because that info disappeared. strange. Amazons instructions for dealing with this are as confusing as the correspondence from China.

I always expect at least six weeks, but several items have arrived in less than three. More problems have occurred on this end, with postal carriers putting them in the wrong box, frankly.

I hope it shows up.

On their website it said there was six in stock. When I checked out they
told me at would arrive in about a week. It was over three weeks before
it arrived. I'm sure it had to have been shipped from China. Amazon will
flat out lie to you.

But Amazon went through a month or so there where everything they were delivering was really behind because everyone was ordering groceries from them.

... about two months after I ordered them.

I held off from giving the seller a bad review (unlike numerous others), despite the promise of a much faster delivery. They were stuck in customs for several weeks, for starters.

I was mostly annoyed at Amazon for allowing that situation to happen. I also never requested a refund, but Amazon made it nearly impossible to get a refund anyway based on the reviews that I saw.

There's been a LOT of fly-by-night sellers on Amazon, from what I understand. There doesn't seem to be any real "background checking" by Amazon in that regard.

even sell my books through them.

Long story short, if you haven't gotten it by now, good luck getting it at all, but you might get lucky!

Yeah I'm just playing along on this one for the adventure at this point. I already went ahead and ordered a stupid $7 one. Plants saucers should never be more than $2 to 5 and plastic ones should be at the lower end of that.
