oddly, he was solid orange.(I never figured that one out). His name is Dog, named by my granddaughter
because he would bite. She would stick her finger in with him and squeal time after after time.
He was 10 years old and the undisputed king of his castle and tank.
I inherited him from a friend who died from liver disease in 2010.
I am shocked to find I miss the dog who never barked. Swim free little guy!

(58,038 posts)My son gave me two fish years ago. Spent a fortune on their
tank. I named them Spot and Skippy. I had 5 dogs at the time, so they had to fit in.

(9,606 posts)I had a Skippy, too. And a Fluffy, named because of her lovely flowing fins and tail.

(870 posts)It sounds like you are a heck of an aquarium owner. 10 years is a testament to your skills and love for your finned friends!
Wishing you all peace.

(9,606 posts)When my little Skippy, who was a baby from the Koi outside, died, I was truly heart broken. People don't understand how someone can get attached to a fish, but I sure did. RIP Dog.
