Neither did my siblings. I don't know why my mother made them, she was the only one who liked them. In fact, she would often make other cookies that only she liked. I guess if she was the one making them, it was up to her to choose the flavor.

She did make really good chocolate chip cookies though!

But when my son was furloughed he came home rather than sink into debt in his apartment.

Well in the years he was gone he learned how to bake and now I have to contend with delicious snickerdoodles and oat honey cakes in the house.
