at first glance with the butterfly comment it looked like lantana, but the greenery didn't

It came up with Mexican Mint Marigold with two different searches. I see these all over the place here in Huntington Beach, Ca. They are in many gardens but also appear to grow in the "wild". Our protected wetlands where I see them in the wild were most likely planted to appear that way, though.
