Don't play pool against someone who's first name is a state.
Don't bowl against someone who's haircut is a flat-top.
Don't challenge the men sitting on barrels outside a general store to a game of checkers (or dominos)
And then there's the whole fight a land war in Asia thing.

I did challenge an old guy to checkers once when I was a girl. He was sitting outside the veterans home in my town. I rode my bike up and challenged him. Got my butt handed to me. .
