The DU Lounge
Related: Culture Forums, Support ForumsI've been seeing a lot of posters saying "puppers" for puppies/dogs lately
Is that a new term? I honestly never heard of it until last week, but now I'm seeing it used everywhere.

(63,221 posts)My sister's dog is named Roxie, which is the name her kids picked out, but she and I always call her Puppers. It seems to suit her better. It's almost a term of endearment. We just love her to pieces and Puppers just seems like a more loving name for some reason to us. She is just the most beautiful dog in the world to me.
