My grandparents took their kids to that World's Fair since it was in New York. I wish that I could ask my grandmother and my Dad more about what they remember about it. Though my parents took my brother and me to a World's Fair at about the same age that my Dad was and I can't say I remember all that much, though I do recall that we went on that "It's a Small World" ride in a boat...

By the time a business builds a pavilion to display their current Innovations and future plans it's already old news. Instead they do Industrial themed shows in Las Vegas and all they have to do is build a kiosk.

It's sad to see something so varied and exciting disappear.

...was to provide a sort of permanent World's Fair for technology (it was actually called Innoventions, I think, and the exhibit buildings were called Communicore East and West.). They've gotten away from this, unfortunately, but as stated technology moves so fast that building a hands-on theme-park level exhibit takes longer than natural obsolescence, and technology by companies such as AT&T no longer draw crowds since everyone has a computer in their pocket.
