Well, that was my dad's favorite show.
My favorite show was The Time Tunnel.
I had a very upsetting childhood experience. It must have happened when I was 9 or 10 years old (since I was 11 when my dad died, I use that as a reference point to determine how old I must have been).
PLEASE DON'T READ ANY FURTHER IF YOU ARE SENSITIVE!
As I recall (may not be completely accurate)...The Time Tunnel and the Wild, Wild West were on at the same time, but on different channels.
This one time, my father refused to let me watch The Time Tunnel, because he wanted to watch The Wild, Wild West.
When he told me this, I calmly put down my Playboy magazine, lit up a cigarette, asked my 24 year old girlfriend to please leave the room for a moment, looked and my dad, and said "You're fucking kidding me".
He said "No, I'm not kidding".
I said "You know I'm going to post about this on the internet someday, right"?
He said "I don't care".
I've been in therapy because of this issue for years.
Well, for this issue, and other stuff too.
