First time in over a month.
Driest May and June on record (I think)
My poor garden suffered greatly despite my best efforts.
Bring it Thor!

(41,757 posts)3. I lost 2/3 of my squash last Saturday
I watered in the early AM and thought everything was OK.
My outdoor thermometer read 101 degrees in the PM.
When I went to water Sunday AM - they were toast.
Hopefully we swill see a change in the weather pattern and have a "normal" rest of the summer.
PS - we had a killer frost on June 1st - so thick I thought it snowed. It killed some of my grape vines.
Ugh

(72,377 posts)5. Remember when we had gentle rains every other day? And hot weather
was generally rare? I hate the new normal.
