Related: Culture Forums, Support ForumsMy grandson's 2nd birthday is coming up, and I want to give him a baseball glove.
He seems to prefer to throw with his left hand.
I would like to give him one left hand and one right hand glove.
I can't seem to find that option on Amazon.
Any suggestions?

(43,049 posts)Click on a glove and some of them offer a choice of left or right hand. And they have curbside pickup at some stores.

The smallest ones were for ages 3-9.

(12,412 posts)He will learn how to catch better and develop which handed he will prefer. Also will learn to catch with both hands. By the time he is 4 his hand will fit a mitt and he will be a natural

(22,035 posts)You cant force handedness. Plus, the hand-eye coordination will be more effectively developed without a glove.

(36,423 posts)Ambidextrous pitcher Pat Venditte uses one.
When Venditte was 7 years old, his father, who was teaching him to throw with both arms, searched for a glove he could wear on both hands. Greg A. Harris, the only other pitcher since 1894 to throw in a major league game with both arms he did it in 1995 connected Vendittes father with Mizuno. Harris already wore one of their six-finger gloves. The glove Harris wore in 1995 is in the Baseball Hall of Fame.

(25,853 posts)there small enough for a two year old.
I'm inclined to second the advice not to be worrying about him learning to catch with a glove so early.
