The Great Saharan Dust Storm and upcoming travel bans

As EU and other Old World countries stand on the cusp of blocking or quarantining Americans from visiting their countries, isn’t it nice to know that some of the Sahara is coming to visit us?

Over to you, Lawrence...

I would think that ingesting dust into engine intakes would not be a good thing.

not sure that's the Dust Storm. Guess it's more on the West coast and Gulf.

And it started me coughing. My husband and I had to run some errands and although we wore our homemade masks in the stores, I took mine off in the truck. The air was set to bring in fresh air, but I didn't stop coughing until I changed it to recirculate.

The sky was an odd brownish color, very unusual here since Tallahassee is so far from most other urban centers.

I hope it gets better in Panama City - my husband has to be in the town (not the beach area) for some business the beginning of the week.
