The DU Lounge
Related: Culture Forums, Support ForumsI just watched Lucifer on Netflix, and...

it's an original series, but in Season 4, Episode 8, Lucifer was watching the Dukes of Hazard, and I noticed that they'd digitally removed the Confederate Flag from the car.
I know it's not a big deal, but it made me think of that company (can't remember the name) that removed it from it's playlist, and then wondered why they couldn't do the same thing.
Anyway, I'm going back to watch some more, and sorry about the interruption.

The characters and situation are so weird, yet believable enough, that it's allowed to do some really freaky and twisty stuff, and I can't stop watching it, waiting for the next twisty thing to happen.
Plus, it's also a very interesting, out side the box, take on the bible.
Makes me think sometimes.

(27,115 posts)I obsessively watch it over and over again.
I just about lost it when Fox canceled it.
So glad that Netflix rescued it.
I didn't have Netflix at the time, but I got it primarily so I could continue to follow it.
I was raised fundamentalist Christian, so it resonates with me quite powerfully at times.
Lucifer raises a lot of the same questions I had.
