(7,715 posts)I honestly believe that without him, they would not have been as popular. Indeed, he was EXTREMELY popular during Beatlemania and even from 1970-1973, I think he was the biggest selling of the Fab 4 after the break-up.
My family and I saw Ringo in concert about three years ago, and I am so glad we did. He looks like he's about 30 years old and was utterly charming.
I CANNOT stand anyone who says he wasn't a great drummer. He was FABULOUS as a drummer and as a rock superstar.
In fact, he's pretty much the star of "A Hard Day's Night" (putting aside that he came up with the title!
