We're in the middle of a massive hailstorm here in CT...

...and, while I appreciate George Carlin's joke about calling hailstones "the size of hailstones"...we have some here--in Orange--as big as an inch across. That makes a noise on the roof... ...we're also getting a good three inches of rain in an hour here, which we badly need. Makes for a change...

Lots of times when it hits any cars outside get wrecked.

Last storm we had destroyed our roof and lots of the neighborhoods roofs.

1 inch size hail can rally do some damage, stay safe!

One sunny afternoon with clear blue skies, I was at a body shop. A man pulls up and his car is a real mess. Dents all over. He wanted an estimate to fix it. The owner asked when it happened. The guys say "Just now". I never knew how local a hailstorm could be until then.
