Cats with fur can't get dry easily because the fur doesn't repel water and they get soaked and cold. A cat without fur can just enjoy the water and then can dry off quickly.

Every cat I've ever known acts like it's acid rain.
I know a few dogs like that as well. God forbid the grass is wet in the morning!
