I remember walking down Haight Street in awe of the wonderful posters in shops and windows, on walls, everywhere.

It was the best of times and the worst of times (no money!)...

But it will always be a part of me.

at least the late 80's, at least when referred to by locals

I have had many, many an adventure down in that neck o' the woods, esp. if you include the Park ... one of the greatest places to trip in the World

and you can still buy posters today ...in the Haight... (well, when its open, shops are closed now due to the pandemic) I used to live at Haight and Lyon street.. All i remember were the incessant mice and cockroaches in that apartment and the guy down the hall who owned a pet Python.

Us radical dirty commies and dope fiends tried to push everything to the limit.

Music, Art, Philosophy, Fashion, Sociology, Politics, etc

Just like our forbears.

And our antecedents.

Am proud to be part of progressive culture. (Hippies, whatever you call them)
