NBC's Peacock is total BS

What a colossal mess.

Horrible UI and content.

Example: they put all English Premier League games for today (Wed, 7/15) are only on Peacock. Not available on Xfinity as they should be.,

Now go try to find out how to watch them or record them.

Its totally bizarre.

How to piss off people.

not the current season.

I was able to link it to my comcast basic cable tv package (I thought you had to have a premium package), but not sure if I'm just getting the free access or something more.

Regardless, I agree. It doesn't appear very useful at least based on the "launch."

I signed up for the $5.99 per month (limited commercials/ $9.99 commercial free) to watch "the Good Fight" "Picard" and "Star Trek Discovery".

Also watch anything else I find interesting. But once the current season for those 3 are over and I've watched all the episodes, I cancel until next year.

streaming media business is long overdue for a shakeout. There's no way that some two dozen of them can possibly survive at the same time.

they've got going for them is the hope that consumers will shell out for a streaming service rather than going to the movies or live entertainment. That pretty much disappears when C-19 does, but I think the consolidation will happen before then.

I agree the UI stinks and it loads really slow.
But, I don't see live games under Sports/Soccer.
Just highlights.
However, under Trending Man City is playing Bournemouth.

You can't DVR any of the aps, including On Demand.
And, I agree about the speed.
So far, I find it low value. Good thing I'm not paying extra for it.
