(86,378 posts)I did as a kid and then in college. Harmonies are my thing, I like it when I can find other singers to do that with but now it's even harder.

It really is a special kind of collaboration.

(11,905 posts)Up until March, my husband and I would sing 3x week - Church choir rehearsal, church, and The New Ark Chorale. I also play handbells. Met my husband in 7th grade chorus. A great way to make lifelong friends. I took voice lessons from the director of the Chorale when I was 13yo. Traded lessons for babysitting his kids. I joined the group when I graduated high school. I'm 57yo now and there has been very little turnover in all those years!
